In December 2011, we did a road trip covering south Tamilnadu from Madurai till Kanyakumari. While we were wandering in the agraharam of Srivaikuntam, I saw this girl playing in the street with the little flower in her hand and I stood there entranced!
When she saw me, the feminine shyness that blushed in her face was so pure! Also the way she remains a child and the content in her face made me so happy! For the eyes that are so used to the metropolitan kids, this was such a refreshing sight 🙂
After talking to her for couple of minutes, she took me inside their home and happily posed with her thatha! The warmth & hospitality of a village upbringing is something I miss these days.

the girl in pic reminds me of my wife in her girlhood…
Hey Vijay,
Glad to know you are able to relate to the post. Were you lucky enough to see your wife in her girlhood or through photos?
Regards,
Krish
